Royal Festival Hall

A most challenging and prestigious refurbishment of a 1950's built landmark.  While the building services were upgraded to 21st century technology and systems, the original shell had to remain intact.  In what has been described as a building that is not "engineering friendly", Essex Services Group Plc worked closely with the Max Fordham design team to deliver timely solutions using new product types, fresh installation methods and supplying and installing many bespoke items.

Innovation coupled with the company's experience and team ethos enabled the many demands of the project to be met.

  • Full electrical installation and data/communication services, from design development, installation through to test and commission.
  • Handover was achieved by phased sequence and close interface to allow for the needs of the numerous specialists employed in staged and public events.
