Facilities Management

The Contract Services Team within Essex Services Group (ESG) is responsible for the efficient delivery of both a preventative and reactive maintenance service nationwide to many blue chip clients including; Odeon Cinemas, Esporta Health Clubs and Compass Group (UK & Ireland).

Our Contracts include (but are not limited to) the following services:

  • Mechanical & Electrical Building Services maintenance
  • Air Conditioning
  • Heating & Ventilation
  • BMS & Controls
  • Fixed Wire Testing
  • PAT Testing
  • Small Works
  • Bespoke Projects


Contracts are carried out by multi-skilled engineers and a support team of engineers and specialists Sub-contractors. The administration and support management team are assisted in the contract operation by the dedicated Contract Services Manager and Director.With such a strong team culture we can ensure continuity of communication and delivery are never compromised.


Generally support is provided in the following areas:-

  • Administration - Office staff assist in the preparation of reports, labour planning, materials & equipment ordering
  • Invoicing - Preparation of monthly invoice cost breakdowns and financial reports
  • General Management - Health & Safety audits, quality audits, performance monitoring, engineering design and project management


ESG provide a 24 hour emergency call-out facility to deliver around the clock cover for any mechanical or electrical failure. Service Control Help Desk will take specific details of the emergency which can be speedily given to the selected support Engineer to attend.
